Thomas L. Jones Jr.
Mr. Jones has a total of twenty-nine years experience exploring for oil and
gas in South Texas. This experience includes two years at Exxon
Company, U.S.A. as an exploration geologist working in the King Ranch
Project and another two years at Texas Oil and Gas as an Area
Geologist in South Texas. The prospecting experience gained at
Exxon and Texas Oil and Gas enabled Mr. Jones to begin a career as an
independent geologist in 1979. Success as an independent led Mr. Jones
to found the prospect generating company of Scout Petroleum, L.L.C.
Mr. Jones is a member of the American Association of Petroleum
Geologists, Houston Geological Society, Corpus Christi Geological Society
and the Society of Independent Earth Scientists. Mr. Jones earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Illinois and a
Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of South Carolina.
